Michael Jackson Week in Brazil

June 20-27 is Michael Jackson week on GNT TV in Brazil.

Starting off with “The Wiz” in which MJ played the Scarecrow, and including the Mini-series: “The Jacksons: An American Dream” each day will feature a program about Michael Jackson, covering everything from the good, bad and ugly, and wonderful about the greatest entertainer of our time.

Michael Jackson was one of the first huge pop stars to shoot a video in Brazil with his video “They Don’t Really Care About Us” filmed by Spike Lee and shot in Salvador, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro. Michael raised the issue of police brutality, prejudice, poverty and forgotten children in Brazil and around the world.

Michael Jackson also thrilled fans during his tour of Brazil performing in his 1993 Dangerous Concerts,
